No water
The water main break happened this morning before I could take a shower, brush my teeth, or give my cat fresh water. She's now got a choice between Gatorade, Canada Dry, and beer.
At times like this, I think about how complicated civilization has become and how it's pretty much all held together by a thread.

On a personal note, I was lucky enough to have the option of showering at the gym this morning.
Lucky. I've been sick and I was going to force myself to go into work today - got up at 6, then decided "nah, I'm going to sleep in a little bit, then I'll feel better." When I got up at 7 there was no water.
Now I am stuck at home watching The View. Is this what passes for intellectualism these days?
