Things Other People Did

This didn't make me as sad as I thought it might -- but I can see some room for improvement.

By age 29, Christine Borne had lived in 4 different states, held 6 different library-related jobs, met Dennis Kucinich, had visited the UK a bunch, and had read all of the Harry Potter books at least three times.

I should think about what I want to have done by age 39, huh?

I think you've underreported your accomplishments. What about:

Winning nearly every scholastic award in the English Department graduating class at college.

Earning a bachelors with top honors from University and completing a Master’s Degree.

Traveling extensively both in the United States and abroad, especially Glastonbury and Edinburgh, but also throughout Ohio and the Great Lakes region, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, and more.

Experiencing the transpersonal at the holy site of Glastonbury.

Publishing a well-regarded blog for over two years, which covers popular Ohio/regional and professional library topics.

Developing and cultivating a talent for writing and philology, including publishing online and professionally, but also pursuing deeper muses.

Developing and cultivating a sophisticated talent for cooking natural and ethnic foods.

Completing the Artists Way.

Adopting a Simple Living lifestyle.

ahh, but Dennis is still the only candidate offering a single-payer universal healthcare plan.

until the other candidates drop their wishy-washy, "I want to help people buy their own insurance!" plans, my heart is still with the Big D. (or, the Little D....)
