Life Story

After an evening spent cleaning, the title of mine might be Everything I Owned Was Covered in Cat Hair.

What would yours be?

My home used to have cat hair tumbleweeds. I have shorter-haired cats now.
I keep wanting to pick song titles.
I'll run with "Hand Made Luck".

I have contemplated writing a self-help book that was completely based around cleaning different areas of your house in order to address various yet specific psycho-spiritual issues... i.e. if your marriage is sagging, spend some time cleaning your bedroom. If it's spiritual development you desire, vacuum all the stairs in your house. If you want to inspire creativity, clean the ceiling fans. To enhance your self image, clean your closet and your mirrors. If you want to lose weight, keep your kitchen clean. And so on. Each chapter focusing on a different area of your life and your house. Maybe vaguely feng-shui based. The idea sprang from me realizing that when my house is clean, I feel better. So I know this but I still can't quite trick myself into keeping my house clean.

I never came up with a title for this gem, though. Hmmm...
Focused house cleansing for psychospiritual results...
doesn't that sound like a best seller?

Shalom Sarah,

Sounds like a great idea. Are you familiar with the Fly Lady and her philosophy of the clean sink?

B'shalom,

Jeff
